Marta De Pascalis è una compositrice che vive e lavora tra Roma e Berlino. Nei suoi lavori, spesso riconducibili all’elettronica, usa l’improvvisazione su un sistema a nastro, dando vita a schemi costanti e ripetitivi mediante una sapiente sintesi tra analogico e digitale che crea un senso di distanza denso, dinamico e catartico. Marta De Pascalis ha prodotto tre album: l’autoprodotto Quitratue, del 2014, Anzar, pubblicato dall’etichetta britannica The Wormhole, nel 2016, e Sonus Ruinae, edito dalla berlinese Morphine Records nel 2020. Nel 2018 ha inoltre collaborato con il duo inglese Howlround all’LP Her Core / Hard Core, pubblicato da The Wormhole. Numerose riviste italiane ed internazionali le hanno dedicato articoli, quali “The New Noise”, “The Wire”, “RockIt” e “Shape”.

Marta De Pascalis is a music composer who lives and works between Rome and Berlin. In her works, often related to electronics, she uses improvisation on a tape system to create constant and repetitive patterns, through a wise synthesis between analog and digital that causes a dense, dynamic and cathartic sense of distance. Marta De Pascalis has produced three albums: the self-produced Quitratue released in 2014, Anzar, released by the British label The Wormhole in 2016, and Sonus Ruinae, released by Berlin-based Morphine Records in 2020.In 2018 she also collaborated with the English duo Howlround for the LP Her Core / Hard Core, released by The Warmhole. Many Italian and international magazines have dedicated articles to her, such as “The New Noise”, “The Wire”, “RockIt” and “Shape”.
